You (DON'T) Have To Be a Good Person.
In Korean
society, ethical correctness and moral perfection are often enforced not simply as personal virtues, but as social expectations. This project is a critical visual archive examining how hyper-moral standards, professional over-regulation, and collective judgment can restrict individual identity in contemporary Korea.
Structured across three volumes, the book juxtaposes legal precedents and media tragedies to examine the pressures of the “good person” complex. Yet the archive ultimately moves toward liberation. On the back cover of each volume, the dense social critique gives way to a quiet resolution: “You are who you are.”
